Windows 7 Beta Review

I am using the genuine Windows 7 Ultimate Beta (Build 7000).
-Overall, I am impressed with the Windows 7 Beta. It has the look of Vista, the speed of XP, and improved security all on its own. Not many glitches either...

-Good things worth mentioning are the new taskbar. Whenever you hover a item, it shows what is opened in it and if its IE8 you can see the different tabs open. Speaking of IE8 it is much better (faster!) than the (very slow) current version for Vista and XP. Also, the new Windows Media Player is like Version 11, but improved. Such as, it can now play .MP4 files unlike its predecessor. WMP now also has a search function much like iTunes does. There is no wait time when you open songs. Even though it is a Beta version, it has no lag. It has no problem multitasking. (On 3GB of RAM at least...) I was just messing around and also found out that they improved WordPad. It now has the look and feel of Microsoft Office Word '07. The new way to connect with your devices is a very nice addition. New network manager is faster, easier.

-The Bad things so far is that the Windows Media Center is basically the same from Vista and XP. Also, the Beta does'nt come with the Windows Live Essentials. (Movie Maker, Mail, Writer, etc.)
